Terms & Conditions
Last updated 6 August 2026
1. Who you are contracting with
UnBoX and the AI coach "Boxy" are operated by Remove the box ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or continuing to use UnBoX you agree to these terms. If you are using UnBoX on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you have authority to bind that organisation. If you are using it as an individual, you confirm you are of legal age in your country.
2. What UnBoX is — and is not
UnBoX is a self-coaching tool. Boxy is an AI built on the Remove the Box method. It is not therapy, not medical or psychological advice, and not a diagnosis, and it is not a crisis service. Nothing Boxy says should be relied on as professional advice. If you are in crisis, contact emergency services on 000 (Australia) or Lifeline on 13 11 14.
Boxy generates responses automatically. Output may be inaccurate, incomplete or unsuitable for your situation. You are responsible for what you say to Boxy, for how you use its output, and for checking anything important with a qualified human.
3. Your account
Keep your login credentials confidential — you are responsible for activity under your account. Provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
4. Acceptable use
You must not:
- use UnBoX for anything unlawful, fraudulent or abusive, including spam;
- infringe anyone's intellectual property or privacy rights;
- interfere with the security of the service — no malware, probing, scraping, circumventing technical limits, or attempting to jailbreak or manipulate Boxy into producing prohibited content;
- use Boxy to generate illegal content, hate speech, harassment, deepfakes or content impersonating a real person;
- reverse engineer, resell or redistribute the service;
- present Boxy's output as clinical, medical, legal or financial advice to third parties.
We may remove or restrict content, filter or refuse outputs, and suspend accounts to enforce these rules.
5. Your content
What you type or say to Boxy stays yours. You grant us a limited licence to host and process it solely to run the service for you. You confirm you have the rights to any content you submit. If you believe content on UnBoX infringes your rights, contact us and we will review and act, including terminating repeat infringers.
6. Our intellectual property
We retain ownership of UnBoX, the Remove the Box method materials, Boxy's persona, the software, and all associated branding. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service within your chosen plan.
7. Service availability
We do not guarantee the service will be uninterrupted or error-free. Features may change over time.
8. Payment and subscriptions
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.
Payment, billing, tax, renewal, cancellation and refund mechanics are governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms. Subscriptions renew automatically at the interval shown at checkout until cancelled. See our Refund Policy.
9. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate access for material breach of these terms, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated or serious policy violations. You may stop using UnBoX at any time. On termination, your access ends and your data is deleted or anonymised in line with our Privacy Notice.
10. Warranties and liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. We are not liable for indirect, consequential or special damages, including loss of profits, data or goodwill. Our aggregate liability is capped at the fees you paid in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing excludes liability for fraud, death or personal injury where the law does not allow it, or rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law.
11. Indemnity
You indemnify us against claims arising from your content, your unlawful use of the service, or your breach of these terms.
12. General
These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia, and the courts of that jurisdiction have exclusive jurisdiction. You may not assign these terms without our consent; we may assign them in a merger or acquisition. Neither party is liable for delays caused by events beyond reasonable control. We may update these terms and will change the date at the top of this page.
13. Contact
